GBA Emulator DEMO for Symbian

This demo is made by third party other than Vampent. Vampent have tried some improvements with this demo. Note: it is only a demo. It is even not playable because of the low speed. It shows that some other groups have tried to make even greater emulators for symbian mobiles.
This demo also illustrates it is quite hard to emulate GBA with full speed in current Symbian hardware environment. However, it CAN emulate GBA with approximately 5 fps on normal S60.


Usage:

SIS package includes only .exe file, so you should use Fexplorer or browser to execute in E:\System\Apps\vBag\vbag.exe. You should put rom file in path E:\System\Apps\vBag\1.gba . Your mobile should have enough memory for loading rom.


Key map:

'1' - A
'4' - B
'2' - Sel
'9' - Start
'7' - L
'8' - R
RightSoft - exit program

omg it works! a little slow but it just booted up pokemon ruby, gonna try another rom and get some screenshots!

ive just took a video of me playing mario kart super circuit on the ngage and will upload it to an ftp asap, but dont get your hopes up guys, for 1 second to pass on the timer it took 11 seconds real time!

...gonna have to ask the same question as above: HOW??????? I don`t even see an app-icon on my menu.....and if I try to start it from system/apps/Vbag it doesn`t work either...

Is this app only for the N-gage????

I`ve tried this on my 6600 and my 6630. None of them work...

Please give me some answears.....

I downloaded the 64k versions for both of them.

....well you sure start to wonder....

If you can choose between 3 versions, as you can, you should also be able to use ALL of them. Not only the first one,4096k for the N-gage. Why post the other ones then.....?

yes it works on ngage, and yes you can run this exe file but use FExplorer because for example smartFileman cant handle it.

We tried it on one of our N-gage QD´s in the Store and all it says is "programm closed Main" ?

...ther`s got to be something wrong with me or my phones. I tried as you said but nothing happens.
I don`t use the N-gage since I don`t have one. I use the 6600 and the 6630.

after copy rom u have to restart u phone or u will get error "app closed"... sw33t

It really works, but its slow... but its a start

Maybe there is a way to improve it...

i tried it with Castlevania and its really slow. Did someone try other Games ?
